We are working with a product?led company looking to hire a Senior Rails Developer to play a key role in scaling and evolving their backend systems.
This is a hands?on role with real ownership and impact across engineering and product.
The Role
As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining core systems that support a high?scale, always?on platform.
You'll be responsible for
Developing and maintaining backend systems and internal tools
Translating business goals into scalable technical solutions
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving live systems (24/7 environment)
Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for smoother deployments
Driving improvements in architecture, performance, and scalability
Integrating and maintaining third?party APIs
What We're Looking For
10+ years of commercial experience with Ruby on Rails
Experience working on high?scale, production systems
Strong understanding of software design principles & best practices




Proven ability to think strategically and align tech with business goals
Ownership mindset with a proactive, problem?solving approach
Experience working with large datasets and third?party integrations
Nice to Have
Experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, Hotwire
Knowledge of mobile ad monetisation ecosystems
Strong background in unit & integration testing
