About the role As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the financial operations of a luxury hotel, supporting the team in daily accounting tasks, financial reporting, and process optimization.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical knowledge in hospitality finance while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and high-standard environment.
What you will do ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE TASKS OPERA system management for customer invoicing and travel agency account administration.
Aging review and Outstanding debt claim Credit meeting preparation and assistance Post deposits in opera and golden Event and group review INCOME AUDIT TASKS Collect/Audit paperwork from all revenue centers in the hotel ensuring accuracy and compliance with Four Seasons' Internal Controls and local hotel polices.
Ensure that accurate revenue is captured, recorded and posted.
Monitor and record all house account meals and entertainment expenses and report any non-compliance to the Assistant Director of Finance for follow up with the hotel management.




Balance income against the respective originating system and any discrepancies are corrected as identified and brought to the attention Assist in covering guest inquiries to the Accounting Department, including folio requests from guests, credit card inquires from guests, as well as requests for information from other departments within the hotel.
ACCOUNT PAYABLE TASKS Verify and record supplier invoices in the hotel's accounting system.
Ensure invoices are complete, accurate, and approved by the relevant departments.
Assist in scheduling payments to suppliers, ensuring deadlines are met.
Follow up to resolve any discrepancies in payments or invoices.
Contact suppliers to clarify any doubts regarding invoices, payments, or contract terms.

What you bring Education: Currently pursuing a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control procedures.
Technical skills: Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
Excel proficiency: Strong command of Excel functions and other Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and reporting.
Attention to detail: Accuracy in reviewing and reconciling financial records, with the ability to spot discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
Organization: Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle various financial tasks efficiently.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments, in English and Spanish.
