The Role:We are looking for an M365 Engineer to strengthen the managed services team of an international organisation within the United Nations system, which provides digital services to UN agencies. You will administer and support the Microsoft 365 tenant and Entra ID in a large, multi-site and complex environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide general administration of the Microsoft 365 tenant and Entra ID policies, in line with governance and best practices.
Configure and administer Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Defender and Purview.
Implement and maintain online email archives, archiving and compliance policies, holds and Advanced eDiscovery, and perform data recovery.
Defender for Identity, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access policies and role-based access control (RBAC). Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
At least 1 year working with customers on Cloud and Microsoft 365 solutions and deployments.
Excellent knowledge of Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender and Purview.




Very good PowerShell and Microsoft Graph skills to automate processes in Entra ID, Exchange Online and other M365 components.
Experience with on-premises to Microsoft 365 or tenant-to-tenant migrations.
Excellent English, written and spoken.
Experience with ITIL and ISO * (IT service management). Knowledge of monitoring tools such as SCOM.
Microsoft 365 or other Microsoft certifications, and ITIL.
Up to€250/day as a freelancer, or up to €40,000 gross/year on a permanent contract (only available for Spain).
