Experteer Overview In this role you support the sales process by crafting technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions. You will collaborate with sales, customers, product managers, and manufacturing sites to ensure accurate selections, competitive pricing, and high-quality tender submissions. The role drives business growth, customer satisfaction, and successful delivery of complex opportunities in an international setting. You will apply a blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and cross-functional collaboration to shape winning bids.

- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions across projects, tenders, and contracts
- Support the sales process from lead generation through negotiation by providing technical and commercial input
- Analyze customer requirements, perform equipment sizing calculations, and recommend optimal technical solutions
- Develop quotations and commercial offers using dedicated quotation and configuration tools
- Manage opportunities, customer accounts, and project data within Salesforce and related systems
- Coordinate with customers, sales teams, product managers, and manufacturing sites to ensure accurate and competitive proposals
- Complete technical documentation and customer data sheets for tender submissions
- Support pricing activities, including special pricing assessments and non-standard solution proposals




- Coordinate and monitor quotation activities for large and strategic projects
- Identify opportunities to improve quotation tools, processes, and efficiency
- Collaborate with Product Managers to maintain and enhance technical and commercial documentation
- Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders (sales, business support)
- Contribute to business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including new tools/processes
- Build relationships with engineering partners, consultants, and bid stakeholders

- 2-5 years in tendering, application engineering, or technical sales support in the water sector
- Technical Engineering degree or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of industrial processes and Sulzer equipment
- Experience evaluating technical requirements and configuring engineered products
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in international teams
- English proficiency B2 or higher
