Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Research and Development (R&D;) employees and support them in reaching the agreed R&D; targets. Each day, you will coach and develop the team. You will also showcase your experience by helping in managing technologies, platforms, and Intellectual Property.

This role is contributing to the MOHP BL RP in Spain. Main stakeholders are MOHP BL RP

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Serving as a technical resource for the team and providing technical support for internal and external contacts.
- Plans capacity, people, and resources for R&D; projects.
- Allocates work/tasks to team members and supervises workload within the team.
- Recommends, develops, and improves processes, procedures, and tools to enhance team operations.
- Ensures talent management through coaching, performance feedback, and provides development and career.
- Ensures appropriate documentation of knowledge.
- Ensures all activities are within company HSE rules and regulations.

Qualifications for the Role

- Electrical Engineering Degree, or equivalent, with real experience in Power Electronics validation and certification
- +5 years of experience in Team Leadership for R&D; Projects
- Risk Management and Incident Handling
- Documentation Tools, Standards and Processes
- Process Improvement and Optimization
- Mindset to innovate, be accountable for, and lead improvement
- Fluent (written and spoken) in Spanish and English
- Activities are focused on the ABB San Fernando de Henares Test Benches, so it is required to work from the office.
