Strategic Communications Expert-AI (m/f/d)

About the Job

Allianz Technology is looking for a Strategic Comms Expert to join the Strategy & Regional Communications team within Global Communications and Reputation team. Based in Barcelona, this global role coordinates and implements communications for AI initiatives across Allianz Technology and Allianz’s other Operating Entities worldwide.

The current focus is AI tool rollout and AI-native ways of working, with communications enabling behavioral change and skill development. You will own how employees experience and adopt new AI capabilities, keeping responsible use and governance central to every message.

What you do

- Design and lead the communications strategy for AI adoption across Allianz Technology and Allianz’s other Operating Entities, including AI tool rollout and the shift to AI-native ways of working. Partner with integral communications, change management and key stakeholders, and manage the plan from scoping through delivery and measurement.
- Connect activities to Allianz Technology’s strategy and transformation agenda, using storytelling to show employees why the change matters and how their actions contribute.
- Drive AI adoption within the Communications and Reputation team by scaling initiatives from Allianz Technology teams and Allianz Group.
- Serve as the primary communications contact for key stakeholders, keeping them engaged and informed. Support AI Networks and communities with suitable formats and consistent messaging that sustain momentum.
- Keep a regular two-way dialogue with stakeholders and employees, for example through short pulse surveys, to sharpen communications planning.




- Own internal communications for assigned topics end-to-end, producing clear, engaging content and reaching global audiences through the right channels. Support AI specialist teams with targeted materials and role-relevant guidance for product owners, engineers and architects.
- Track the impact of communications using adoption data and feedback, turning results into insights for ongoing planning. Facilitate workshops at key milestones of adoption journeys.

What you bring

- University degree in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
- Significant internal or corporate communications experience in international environments, working across multiple markets or regions at once. Demonstrated AI or technology communications experience is essential; experience with tool rollouts, digital transformation or AI adoption is directly relevant.
- Excellent written English, able to turn complex technical and strategic topics into clear, engaging content.
- Confidence advising senior leaders and building relationships across a global organization. Strong project management discipline, handling multiple workstreams and sustaining quality under deadline pressure.
- Experience with design tools such as Canva or Claude Design for high-quality visual output.
- Cultural awareness,



tailoring communications and change initiatives to diverse audiences. A collaborative, self-directed style with the resilience to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.
