About the roleAt Amenitiz, data is at the core of how we grow, make decisions, and deliver value to our customers. As aSenior Data Engineer, you’ll take the lead in architecting and scaling our data infrastructure, ensuring that teams across the company have secure, reliable, and high-quality access to data. You’ll design and optimize pipelines, own core data models, and implement governance and quality standards that will shape the future of our platform. Beyond the technical side, you’ll mentor junior engineers, lead design discussions, and collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, and data science to ensure our data foundation scales with the business. Your work will directly power data-driven decision-making at Amenitiz.Your missionsLead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines.Architect and optimizeELT workflows in dbt, ensuring modularity, performance, and adaptability to evolving business needs.Own the integrity, structure, and performance of core data models inRedshift, balancing usability for stakeholders with technical scalability.Implement and drive standards fordata governance, observability, and qualityacross all pipelines.Efficiently integrate diverse data sources, APIs, and third-party platforms.Partner with engineering and product teams to deliver improvements to data architecture aligned with company goals.Monitor, troubleshoot, and proactively optimize pipeline performance, including incident response and root cause analysis.Contribute to the long-termdata platform strategy, including evaluations of new tools, standards,
