Cough is one of the most common symptoms in health, and a critical warning sign in serious illnesses like asthma. Hyfe is the first company to measure cough passively: our AI listens for coughs in audio, like a step counter, but for cough.

We are a small, general, collaborative team working with researchers, clinicians, and pharma teams to make continuous cough monitoring a part of everyday healthcare.

The Role

This is a hands-on operations role at the centre of Hyfe. You´ll play a key role in the commercial, financial and people operations that keep a small, fast-moving team running.

You will see how a growing company runs from the inside, across contracts, finance, people, and operations, and learn from working closely with the CEO. It is a strong two- to three-year foundation for a career in operations, and a natural stepping stone toward roles such as Chief of Staff / Senior Operations.

This role suits someone ambitious and curious who is careful with detail, can be trusted with sensitive information, and wants to learn fast and take real ownership of how things run.

The role is fully remote, with a strong preference for the UK, Spain, or Portugal.

Salary is £37,800-£41,600 / €44,800-€49,000 (depending on experience)

What You'll Do

- Keep our commercial and legal commitments in order. Own NDAs and contracts with clients and partners from drafting to signature, and maintain our contracts and IP register,



so we always know what we have agreed, what we own, and what is due for renewal.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date view of our finances. Organise invoices, follow up on payments, and keep clear expense and supplier records, so we know where we stand and our accountants have what they need.
- Support our team throughout their time at Hyfe. From onboarding and offboarding to contracts and leave, and keeping HR records and policies accurate and easy to find.
- Build processes that scale with the company. Create simple, repeatable processes and trackers so nothing depends on one person’s memory, and work with our external accountants, lawyers, and insurers as needed.

What We're Looking For

- Native or fluent English
- At least 2 years in operations, finance, legal, consulting, or a similar business support or analytical role, ideally at a startup or small company
- Track record of improving processes (we´ll ask to hear some examples)
- Ambitious and eager to learn
- Proactive, happy to take ownership, and comfortable owning a process end-to-end
- Organized, methodical, detail-oriented (you´ll mention “swan” in your application)
- Actively using AI tools for efficiency; comfortable in spreadsheets
- Discretion with sensitive contract, financial, and personal information
