About The Role
Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced cardiac electrophysiologist to join our Cardiology business as a Global Medical Director. In this physician leadership role, you will serve as the clinical voice of physicians and the patients we help serve, providing medical expertise and strategic guidance across the lifecycle of electrophysiology and left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) therapies.
You will collaborate across a global network of teams including Clinical Research, Clinical Evidence, Research and Development (R&D;), Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Commercial functions to support innovation, evidence generation and patient safety.
What You’ll Do Serve as a medical expert and patient advocate across the product lifecycle for electrophysiology and LAAC therapiesProvide medical leadership on benefit-risk assessment across product development, clinical studies and post-market activitiesPartner cross-functionally to inform product strategy and medical decision-makingProvide medical oversight for clinical trials, including protocol development, investigator engagement and data interpretationSupport post-market surveillance activities,



including safety signal evaluation and device performance assessmentCollaborate with healthcare providers and investigators to assess adverse events and emerging clinical insightsRepresent Boston Scientific with key opinion leaders, regulatory authorities, advisory boards and professional societiesReview and approve clinical, scientific and regulatory materialsEnsure clinical accuracy and compliance across educational and promotional contentContribute clinical expertise to innovation initiatives, product development and business development activitiesSupport the development and mentorship of medical and cross-functional colleaguesWhat We’re Looking For Medical Doctor (M.
