WorldwideProject: Offshore FleetJob Title: JLT/VLS Control Room OperatorLocation: WorldwideJob Description:Under the direction of the 1st Assistant and the Offshore Construction Manager, operate the J-Lay tower and/or the VLS from the control room (or on local consolles where applicable), including operation of all associated equipment, to ensure a safe handling of the product being installedWithin own remit, ensure that the 1st Assistant is kept fully informed of construction status and potential problems, including reporting of any abnormal conditions or lay parametersWithin own remit, report malfunctions and alarms to the mechanical and/or electrical team for verification and intervention as applicableEnsure the compliance with the standard determinated by Saipem QHSE Policy and safety procedures, in order to perform the activity in a safe mannerReport near misses and incidents to the 1st AssistantParticipate to Tool Box Talks, JSA and Risk Assessments as requiredWithin own remit,



ensure that the Permit-to-work system is correctly adhered to and respectedEnsure that an adequate hand-over is carried out at the end and beginning of each shiftEnsure that a detailed log is kept of the activities carried out from the JLT / VLS control roomAssist the Field engineer in the monitoring of JLT and VLS activities as requiredReport to the 1st AssistantRequirementsPrevious experience operating IHC Vertical Lay SystemPrevious experience working as: J-lay Tower Operator/ MLS Operator (Multi-lay System Operator)/ Vertical Lay System Operator/ Control Room OperatorBenefitsPosition: JLT / VLS ControlRoom Operator

Certificaciones STCW 2010 vigentes aplicables a remolcadores. Libreta de embarque en vigor. Buen dominio del Ingles y Español (oral y escrito). Sólidos conocimientos de terminología marítima. Residencia en la provincia de Barcelona.
