What You'll Do As a Junior Business Development Representative, you'll help introduce Refinery89 to new publishers across the German-speaking market and play an important role in growing our international business.
Find new business opportunities: Manage prospects from initial outreach through commercial conversations, negotiations, and closing opportunities.
Work closely with experienced sales and operational colleagues to develop commercial opportunities.
Build your understanding of digital advertising, publisher monetization, and programmatic technology through hands-on experience.
Keep our CRM updated with prospects, conversations, and business opportunities.

Who We're Looking For

We're not expecting you to know everything about sales or digital advertising from day one. German fluency (C1/C2 or native level) and strong English communication skills.
A genuine interest in sales, business development, and building professional relationships.
Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and commercial processes.
Recent graduates and candidates with 0 to 2 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, recruitment, or another client-facing role.
Familiarity with prospecting tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or CRM platforms.
Exposure to the German-speaking business market.
An academic background in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Knowledge of digital advertising, online media, or SaaS.
Additional European languages, particularly Dutch.
Gain valuable experience working with businesses across Europe while being based in Madrid.
Develop expertise in AdTech, digital publishing, and programmatic advertising.
Your work will directly contribute to growing our publisher network and expanding our presence across Europe.
