Meraki Talent are looking for an experienced Audit Senior Manager - Financial Services to join a growing team in Spain, with the flexibility to be based in either Madrid or Barcelona.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to take a leading role in managing a diverse portfolio of Financial Services clients, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and driving the delivery of high-quality audit engagements.

You will play a key role in leading complex audits, developing the team, and contributing to the continued growth of the Financial Services practice.

The role:

- Lead audit engagements across a portfolio of Financial Services clients, ensuring high-quality delivery, effective risk management and compliance with relevant auditing and accounting standards.
- Manage client relationships , acting as a trusted adviser to CFOs, finance directors, audit committees and other senior stakeholders.
- Oversee complex audits , coordinating engagement teams, managing resources and budgets, and ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met.
- Drive portfolio growth by identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
- Lead and develop teams ,



coaching Managers and junior colleagues, supporting career progression and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Collaborate across the business , working closely with colleagues across service lines and offices to deliver an integrated client experience.

About you:

- Significant experience in external audit, ideally within a Big Four or leading professional services environment.
- A strong track record of managing audit engagements and client portfolios within the Financial Services sector.
- Experience working with Financial Services businesses, such as banks, insurance companies, asset managers, investment funds or other regulated financial institutions.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and develop future talent.
- Excellent commercial awareness, communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior client stakeholders.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish, where required for the client portfolio.
