Furthermore, CITIC promotes interdisciplinary collaboration between research groups, companies and institutions, fostering the transfer of knowledge and technology to the business sector. The Regional Government of Galicia, through the Regional Ministry of Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training, has accredited CITIC as a Centre of Excellence and recognised it as a member of the CIGUS Network for the period 2024–2027.
