About Our Client Our client is a well-established and fast-growing apparel manufacturer serving both domestic and international markets. With a strong production infrastructure, partnerships with global brands and a design-driven vision, the company stands out in the industry. To strengthen its design team in Barcelona, it is now looking for a Senior Fashion Designer.

Role Purpose To lead the full collection development process, from trend research to production, creating commercially successful collections that meet the expectations of the brand and its clients.

- Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop seasonal collection concepts, themes and colour palettes
- Monitor global fashion trends, market dynamics and competitor activity, and translate insights into collections
- Prepare technical drawings (flat sketches) and tech packs, and manage the sampling process
- Work closely with suppliers on fabric, trim and accessory selection
- Collaborate with pattern-making, sampling and production teams throughout product development
- Present collections to clients and brand representatives,



and manage revisions based on feedback
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team
- Balance creative vision with commercial requirements, cost targets and production capabilities

- Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of design experience in the apparel industry, ideally on the manufacturer or brand side
- Strong expertise in at least one category: womenswear, menswear or kidswear [product group can be specified: knitwear, wovens, denim, etc.]
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with CLO 3D or similar 3D design software is a plus
- Solid technical knowledge of fabrics, pattern-making, production techniques and costing
- Fluent English; Spanish and/or Catalan is a strong advantage
- Excellent presentation, communication and leadership skills
- Creative, solution-oriented and able to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
