About WalksDevour We started as two companies — Walks and Devour — founded on the shared values of curiosity, connection, and a commitment to authentic, insider experiences. From this pioneering foundation, we’ve grown into WalksDevour, a seasoned tour operator offering meticulously curated cultural and food experiences in the world’s most iconic destinations. We bring destinations to life, offering guests special insider access to landmarks, museums, bars and restaurants that they simply wouldn’t discover on their own. Bringing together expert guides, family businesses and local vendors allows us to unlock the history, food, culture and story-telling that make our tours unforgettable. Tours that open doors: to experiences, spaces, people and relationships; to the new and the unexpected; to the memorable, indelible, trip-defining moments that remain with our guests for a lifetime. Behind the scenes, a team of around 100 people across 8 countries makes it all happen, from planning and operations to customer experience. As we grow, we’re looking for a HR Manager to make sure that team is supported, developed, and set up to do their best work. The role You’ll support our team, the people behind the scenes of our tours. You’ll be a key member of a small, hands-on People team, covering the full employee lifecycle from hiring to employee relations to the systems behind it. This is an individual contributor role with real ownership: you’ll be both a strategic partner and a doer, comfortable working across cultures and time zones.

Key Responsibilities
• Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contract for employee and manager concerns. Handle sensitive cases such as conflicts, performance issues, and grievances fairly, consistently, and in line with local requirements.
• Manager Coaching: Coach and equip people managers to lead their teams effectively, including feedback,

performance conversations, team dynamics, and difficult situations.
• Recruitment: Manage the hiring process end to end. Including guiding managers on workforce planning, drafting

s, sourcing and screening candidates to ensure we bring the best culture fit into our team and securing the placement through offer stage.
• Onboarding: Design and deliver a consistent, welcoming onboarding experience so new joiners in every country get up to speed quickly and feel part of the team from day one.
• Culture and Engagement: Nurture a connected, inclusive culture across a mostly remote, multi-country team. Run engagement initiatives, gather and act on employee feedback, and help bring our values of curiosity and connection to life day to day.
• Policy Management: Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies and employee handbooks, making sure they stay compliant with local employment requirements and work in practice.
• Training and Development: Identify learning needs and organize training for employees and managers, from leadership skills to role-specific development.
• HR Administration; Oversee contracts, offboarding, and employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the countries where we operate.
• HRIS Management: Own our HR information system, including data integrity, reporting, process improvements, and user support.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to HR processes and practices that scale as the company grows.

What you'll bring to the company
• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential matters
• A pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to challenge and advise senior stakeholders
• Cultural awareness and flexibility when working with colleagues in different countries Skills & experience Essential

• HR qualification or certification (e.g., CIPD, a Master’s in HR, or equivalent)
• Experience coaching and advising managers
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)

What we offer
• A competitive salary, dependent on experience.
• ‘Unlimited’ free tours for you and your family, and discounted rates for friends and family (where you’re not attending).
• Remote-first working with genuine flexibility.
• The chance to shape the People function in an international, growing company Location & travel This is a remote, Spain-based role. It involves regular travel to Madrid, plus occasional travel within Europe to meet the wider team.
