We are seeking to recruit a research assistant for the UOC-FuturEd - Research Centre on the Futures of Education in the Digital Age,



within the UOC's TechSLA Lab research group.
The purpose of this project is to collect and analyse data from human participants to study progress in English language learning through oral interactions with artificial intelligence. The project includes the administration of written and oral pre-tests and post-tests, as well as the linguistic analysis of the oral productions obtained.
Responsibilities
- Actively collaborate in data collection with human participants.
- Administer a battery of pre-tests and post-tests in oral and written formats.
- Manage and organise data from oral interactions with AI.
- Carry out linguistic coding and analysis on verbal samples to identify and quantify progress in learning English.

The contract will be fixed-term and part-time. We will agree upon a start date once the recruitment process is completed.
