The OT Systems & Projects Specialist will support the IT/OT Systems Manager in coordinating the implementation and maintenance of the OT telecommunication networks and monitoring systems (SCADAs) of the power plants. The position combines hands-on technical knowledge with project coordination: driving day-to-day communication and follow-up with EPC contractors, subcontractors, IT/telecom service providers and internal departments so that new and existing power plants are delivered and maintained to Verbund's standards across the VGP Iberia portfolio.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Coordinate EPC contractors, subcontractors, IT service providers and telecom companies during the implementation of new power plants, tracking scope, timelines and open action items.




- Act as day-to-day project coordination point for OT/IT workstreams, following up deliverables and flagging risks or delays to the IT/OT Systems Manager.
- Support the definition and follow-up of the SCADA solution for remote monitoring and control of the power plants, together with external contractors and internal departments.
- Verify that the OT/IT design implemented in new parks in Spain meets the standards and guidelines set by the company, escalating deviations.
- Coordinate subcontractors and service providers to ensure the proper working and maintenance of telecommunication and SCADA systems across the operating portfolio.
- Support the preparation and follow-up of service agreements and purchase orders with suppliers, including basic negotiation of terms and SLAs.
- Maintain project documentation, status trackers and technical documentation (network diagrams, asset inventories) up to date.

Your profile

- Degree in telecommunication, computer, electronics, automation or related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience in related field, ideally including some exposure to project coordination or technical project management.
- Basic experience coordinating service providers and subcontractors.
- Knowledge/experience in telecommunication architectures and protocols used in industrial environments, especially in power generation plants.
- Knowledge/experience with SCADA systems.
- Experience in the use of the Microsoft suite, mainly Excel and Word.
- Driving license B.
- Availability to travel regularly to power plant sites within Spain.
- Good knowledge of English.
