GBSB General Business School is seeking motivated and research-oriented Full-Time Faculty members specializing in Finance, Accounting & FinTech to join our Barcelona Campus with an expected start date of January 7, 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international academic community and contribute to teaching, research, and academic excellence while working with students from over 60 nationalities.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Finance, Accounting & FinTech.
- Supervise undergraduate and master's dissertations and participate in thesis defense committees, where appropriate.
- Tutor students and provide academic support throughout their learning journey.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and institutional initiatives.
- Conduct research and contribute to scholarly activities, including academic publications and collaborative research projects.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, academic events, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- PhD in Finance, Accounting, or FinTech, or close to completion where applicable.
- University-level teaching experience is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in Finance, Accounting, or FinTech.




- Interest in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
- Demonstrated research potential through doctoral research, academic publications, conference presentations, or ongoing research projects.
- Strong command of English (language of instruction).
- Commitment to academic excellence, innovation, research, and student success.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural academic environment.

Faculty members are expected to:

- Maintain an active research agenda aligned with their academic discipline.
- Contribute to scholarly publications, research projects, and other intellectual contributions.
- Demonstrate potential for continued academic research and professional development.
