Our client seeks a highly motivated engineer to join an agile team striving for multidisciplinary collaboration, trust, autonomy, and full ownership of its services. Your responsibilities will vary from simple maintenance tasks to complex projects, giving you the chance to work with different technologies and bring services to the next level.

Key responsibilities

- Research & Build: Explore new technologies and build new products for the cloud hosting platform
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and vendors to deliver new services to customers
- Sales Support: Support the sales team in understanding customer needs and defining the best solutions
- Customer Relationships: Care for customers and build sustainable, long-term relationships
- Service Reliability: Keep services monitored and always up and running
- Advanced Support: Act as third support level, sometimes on-call, solving problems nobody else could resolve

Candidate requirements

- VMware Expertise: Proficiency in VMware solutions (VCF 9, vSphere 7.x, 8.x)
- Microsoft Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft products (AD, DNS, and Servers)
- Linux Experience: Hands-on experience with Linux distributions (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
- Networking Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of networking concepts
- Automation Skills:



Experience with automation tools/scripting including PowerShell, plus Python, Perl, or Bash, and Chef or Ansible
- Certifications: VCP-DCV, VCP-VCFA, or VCAP-DCV Design preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Team Collaboration: Strong team player able to support a culture of trust, autonomy, and collaboration
- Self-Motivation: Self-driven with commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written), alongside good English communication
- On-Call Commitment: Willingness to join the on-call rotation (roughly one week in every five)
