Munich Re Madrid is responsible for Non-Life technical accounting and claims handling services for Iberia, Latin America, Caribbean and Italy. We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated Reinsurance Claims Accountant in this interesting, dynamic and international setting, contributing with expertise and engagement in the growing multicultural department. Your job * Process and record reinsurance claim transactions. * Review, process, and execute claim payments. * Review and validate claims-related accounting and payment information. * Investigate and resolve claims-related accounting discrepancies. * Collaborate with Claims colleagues and other key stakeholders. * Maintain high data quality standards and perform claims quality checks. * Ensure accurate and timely processing in accordance with internal controls and procedures. * Manage a designated portfolio of clients. * Contribute to challenging projects and integral working groups, as required. Your profile * Degree in administration, finance, economics, or business sciences. * Re/ Insurance claims knowledge is highly valued.



* At least three years of working experience, preferably in finance areas. * Expertise in MS-Office, particularly Excel, and in SAP tools. * Analytical skills and accuracy in dealing with figures. * Self-confident approach combined with a high degree of dedication to working effectively and independently, willing to face new responsibilities. * Strong communication skills, high degree of intercultural competence and team spirit. * Good knowledge of Spanish and English (written and spoken). Italian and/or Portuguese is highly valued.
