Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteer is a full-time, on-site role based in Colmenar Viejo. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing volunteer activities to ensure programs are adequately staffed and run smoothly. The Coordinator will recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers, provide training and guidance, and maintain up-to-date volunteer records and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include communicating with volunteers and staff, matching volunteers to suitable roles, organizing orientations and briefings, and monitoring participation and performance. The role also involves supporting community outreach initiatives, promoting volunteer opportunities, and regularly evaluating processes to improve the volunteer experience and program effectiveness.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management skills, including coordination, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.
• Candidates should possess Volunteer Training skills, with the ability to develop and deliver clear orientations, briefings,



and ongoing support.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage volunteers, staff, and community partners respectfully and professionally.
• Candidates should possess Community Outreach experience, including promoting programs, building local partnerships, and encouraging community participation.
• Ability to work on-site in Colmenar Viejo and manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience in volunteer coordination, community services, or nonprofit environments is preferred.
• Basic proficiency with office software and volunteer or CRM databases is beneficial.
• Relevant education in social work, community development, nonprofit management, or a related field is an advantage.
