Role Description This full-time, on-site Healthcare Specialist role is based at Escuela de Economía Social in Vélez-Málaga. The Healthcare Specialist will provide direct support in health-related programs, including basic medical care, emergency response coordination, and guidance on preventive health practices for participants and staff. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver health education and training sessions, maintaining accurate health records, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. The Healthcare Specialist will assess health needs, coordinate referrals to appropriate medical services, and contribute to the development of protocols that promote well-being within the organization. Daily tasks include communicating with stakeholders, documenting interventions, participating in meetings, and supporting continuous improvement of healthcare processes in an educational and community-oriented environment.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in healthcare and medicine,



with the ability to apply clinical knowledge in educational and community settings.
• Certified EMT or equivalent emergency medical training, with practical experience in emergency response and basic life support.
• Strong communication skills, including clear documentation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and effective interaction with diverse participants.
• Experience in designing and delivering training related to health, safety, or emergency preparedness for groups of varying backgrounds.
• Relevant degree or diploma in healthcare, nursing, medicine, or a related field; additional certifications in public health or health education are beneficial.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, infection control practices, and risk assessment in institutional or community environments.
