Job Description Summary

As a Global Procurement Category Lead – External Manufacturing, you will lead the strategic sourcing and procurement activities for external manufacturing (CMO) services within the GE Healthcare Pharmaceutical Diagnostics across the globe.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of contract manufacturing services to support the company's integral operations.

• Developing, implement, and manage global procurement strategies for all external manufacturing categories, including contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) for finished goods, sub-assemblies, and specialized components.
• Leading complex negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs), driving significant cost reductions and value creation.
• Conducting market analysis, supplier evaluations,



and risk assessments to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with external manufacturing partners, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D;, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations teams to ensure alignment on product requirements, supplier capabilities, and delivery timelines.
• Driving supplier performance management, including regular business reviews, key performance indicator (KPI) tracking, and corrective action implementation.
• Identifying and implement best practices in procurement and supplier management to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across the external manufacturing category.
• Managing the contract lifecycle for external manufacturing agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
