ALTEN is looking for a Senior Group Social Media Manager to join the Group Communications team on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave. The role will supervise international social media activities worldwide, combining strategy, editorial oversight, international coordination, advocacy, governance and performance management across a complex B2B organisation.

You will work closely with Group and local communications teams to strengthen ALTEN’s visibility, consistency and reputation across markets. You will set priorities, guide country teams, supervise key activities and ensure that social media supports both Group objectives and local realities.

THE ROLE
• Integral social media strategy: manage the Group’s approach across LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant channels, aligning business, corporate, employer-brand and reputation priorities.
• Editorial direction and content: supervise the global publishing calendar and content produced for Group channels, providing editorial direction and quality control; take a hands-on role in strategic content.




• International and team coordination: lead regular exchanges with communications teams worldwide, set priorities and provide clear guidance, shared assets and support to the Group Community Manager, local teams, contributors and external partners, enabling effective local adaptation while maintaining Group consistency.
• Campaign management: lead international campaigns from concept and briefing through production, activation and KPI follow-up, including setting up and managing selected paid campaigns through LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads.
• Performance and reporting: manage Group and country KPI frameworks, dashboards and scorecards, translating results into practical recommendations and flagging significant performance issues.
