Progenika Biopharma S.A. is seeking an Innovation Scientist to join its R&D; Department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing analytical methods based on Molecular Biology, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), and Microbiology, working with biological samples and a variety of microorganisms.
In addition, you will provide scientific guidance and be responsible for the design and execution of experiments,
as well as sample preparation for proof-of-concept studies and validations, in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory procedures.
What your responsibilities will be
•
Design, propose, execute and analyze experiments, ensuring the generation of high-quality results.
•
Work collaboratively as part of a team to perform and manage routine laboratory activities.
•
Develop and apply molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, PCR and NGS.
•
Analyze experimental data and communicate findings effectively to the rest of the team.
•
Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements for design, analysis, reporting and product development in accordance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820.
