An Application Support Developer is a hybrid role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing software applications while providing 2nd/3rd line technical support. They resolve complex incidents, automate workflows, and deploy updates, bridging the gap between operational support and development to ensure system stability and performance. Location Flexibility: We welcome applications from candidates based in Spain or Poland. This role can be performed hybrid from Barcelona or Warsaw, or fully remotely within either country. * Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide 2nd/3rd line support, diagnosing and resolving complex application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. * Application Maintenance & Enhancement: Maintain, debug, and improve existing applications, often writing code to resolve issues or add minor features. * Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor application performance, ensuring high availability, and optimizing systems for better performance. * Release Management: Support deployment, release cycles, and environment management.



* Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and manual processes to improve operational efficiency. * Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, knowledge bases, and support guides. Required Skills and Qualifications * Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, or .NET. * Database Knowledge: Strong SQL skills for querying, debugging, and managing databases. * Technical Platforms: Experience with Windows, UNIX/Solaris, and IIS. * Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on root cause analysis. * Experience: Previous experience in application support or software development. * Soft Skills: Excellent communication for stakeholder management, and the ability to work in Agile, ITIL-driven environments.
