As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support ZPS Spain, partnering with management to drive people initiatives, develop talent and ensure effective HR operations.
The role will work closely with the Spain Country Manager, Local HR Director, Regional HR and specialist teams. The position will be based in Valencia, although applications from candidates based in our Madrid and Barcelona offices will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering: Advise managers on employee relations, performance, talent development, workforce planning and organizational change, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee core HR processes, including employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination, employee records and compliance with Spanish employment legislation and company policies.
Talent Acquisition & Development: Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training and career development initiatives in collaboration with relevant HR teams.
Employee Engagement: Promote a positive working environment, support employee engagement and contribute to a strong company culture.
HR Strategy & Reporting: Implement local HR initiatives, monitor key workforce indicators and collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to support business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources,



Business Administration, Labour Relations or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
3–5+ years of experience in HR generalist or HR Business Partner roles.
Solid knowledge of Spanish employment legislation, employee relations and HR compliance.
Experience across core HR processes, including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination and talent development.
Experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or other operational, multi-site environments is highly desirable.
Fluent Spanish and strong professional English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information or recruitment systems.
·Availability to travel nationally up to 50% of the time, primarily to Barcelona and Madrid, with occasional international travel.
