WITH US, YOU WILL BE

- Designing, building and maintaining high-performance, scalable and reliable systems handling large volumes of traffic.
- Working hands-on with Go as a core part of our backend stack.
- Occasionally contributing to a core service written in Scala, diving into legacy PHP code.
- Working across different parts of the platform rather than being limited to one narrowly defined area.
- Solving challenges involving application performance, networking, operating systems (Linux) and infrastructure.
- Continuously profiling, optimizing and improving existing systems for performance, efficiency and reliability.
- Working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, Kubernetes clusters and other managed services, while occasionally supporting and maintaining on-premise infrastructure when needed.
- Working with browser APIs and client-side JavaScript when the problem requires it.
- Investigating complex production issues and developing practical, permanent solutions.
- Contributing to technical decisions and the future direction of our platform.
- Working directly with other engineers and business teams to turn real business requirements into technical solutions.
- Sharing knowledge, reviewing code and helping other engineers grow.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.




- Strong professional experience with Go (Golang).
- Excellent level of English.
- Strong understanding of computer science and systems fundamentals, including memory allocation, cache locality, pointers and references.
- Experience designing and developing scalable, reliable and optimized applications capable of handling high loads.
- Basic knowledge of browser APIs and frontend development — you should be comfortable writing client-side code when needed.
- Ability to quickly learn, adapt and dive into unfamiliar problems, including areas outside your previous experience. We value engineers who are willing to work across the stack rather than stay within a narrow specialization.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE

- Experience with Scala and/or JavaScript.
- Previous experience or knowledge of AdTech and programmatic advertising, including ad-serving systems, DSPs, SSPs, OpenRTB and real-time bidding.
