At Indra Group, we develop space technology for the missions of the future.

We drive satellite, Earth observation, communications, and space defense programs, participating in projects that push the boundaries of technological innovation and knowledge.

? Join our team working on national and international projects

We are looking for a Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Simulation Engineer with experience in SSA algorithm development, orbital mechanics, sensor simulation, cataloguing systems, stochastic modelling, and end-to-end simulation environments to join projects focused on space surveillance and tracking systems, performance analysis, sensor modelling, simulation platforms, and advanced SSA solutions for the space sector.

? What will you do?

• Develop and maintain SSA algorithms for sensor simulation, object cataloguing, and KPI analysis.

• Design, execute, and improve end-to-end simulation workflows for space surveillance and tracking applications.

• Perform orbital mechanics analyses, numerical modelling, and stochastic performance assessments.

• Support system validation, verification, and performance analysis activities through simulation environments.

• Develop software solutions and simulation capabilities using modern programming languages and engineering tools.

• Contribute to the implementation of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, digital twins, and high-availability systems.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, analyse, and improve simulation architectures and operational concepts.

? What are we looking for?

Don't worry if you don't meet 100% of the requirements. We encourage you to apply, learn more about our opportunity, and show us what you can bring to the team.

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent scientific or engineering discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience developing SSA algorithms, including sensor simulation, cataloguing, and KPI analysis.

• Deep knowledge o
