At Vortech PCI Group, we are looking for a Senior .NET Backend Engineer to join an international project in the financial sector, focused on developing a new Electronic Trading platform within the Fixed Income domain.
This is a greenfield project, involving the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend solutions using .NET and AWS.
We are looking for a hands-on senior engineer with strong experience in C#, microservices, distributed systems, asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Build scalable REST APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Develop distributed systems and event-driven integrations using messaging technologies.
- Implement multithreading, concurrency and asynchronous programming solutions.
- Optimise application performance, scalability and reliability.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Apply Clean Architecture, SOLID principles and software engineering best practices.
- Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with international technical teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in C# and .NET.
- Solid experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core and REST APIs.
- Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of multithreading, asynchronous programming and concurrency.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, TIBCO, SignalR or equivalent.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with Docker, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting applications in production.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Advanced English.
