LIFE-ACCLIMATE: Cultivating Resilience: Climate Change Adaptation Strategies for Greenhouses to Enhance Yield and Resource Efficiency
RESEARCH LINE: Image analysis and early detection of pests and diseases in greenhouse crops.
TASKS:



Image acquisition and pre-processing, Database creation, training and validation of classification models, early detection and interpretation, and integration with decision support systems.
Requirements
Research Field Physics » Other Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Research Field Mathematics » Computational mathematics Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
1) Training or experience in data analysis, pattern recognition, machine learning, image processing, geographic information systems or the monitoring of agri-environmental systems using sensors and drones;
2) Experience in using data from aerial and ground-level sensors;
3) Knowledge of sensor data extraction processes and the analysis of results;
4) Ability to organise, clean and document data using spreadsheets or other IT tools;
5) Attention to detail and the ability to consistently apply classification and qual
