Environmental Technician

WHO WE ARE
At Verdalia Bioenergy, we see organic waste as a resource, not a problem. Backed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, we develop, build and operate biomethane plants across Spain and Italy, turning agricultural and agri-food waste into renewable gas and biofertilizers. We combine long-term vision with the speed and ambition of a scale-up, and we're building the team that will lead Europe's green energy transition.

water, air quality, odours, noise and biodiversity) to assess and anticipate impacts.
• Carry out field assessments during site selection and development to identify environmental risks and constraints early.
• Support environmental permit applications and the follow-up of their conditions, including integrated environmental authorisations and environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare environmental reports and documentation for authorities and for project decisions.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives and best practices across our project portfolio.
• Work hand in hand with Permitting, Engineering and HSQE teams, and with external consultants and laboratories.

WHAT YOU BRING
• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in environmental compliance or field assessments.
