Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Optical Transceiver Test Engineer to develop, deploy, and optimize manufacturing test solutions for next-generation 800G and 1.6T optical transceivers. The engineer will be responsible for production test architecture, test automation, yield improvement, failure analysis, and manufacturing support for high-volume optical module production.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in high-speed optics, automated test systems, manufacturing processes,



and data-driven yield optimization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain for 800G and 1.6T Optical Transceiver test solutions

• Design production test flows for PCBA, optical assembly, final module test, and system-level validation.

• Define test specifications, limits, guard bands, and release criteria.

• Improve test coverage, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency while maintaining product quality.

Test Automation

• Develop automated test software and scripts using Python, C#, LabVIEW, or similar tools.

• Create test reports, dashboards, and automated data collection systems.

• Support test equipment calibration and maintenance activities.

• Work closely with manufacturing, process, and product engineering teams to resolve issues impacting production output.

• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
