R&D; PRODUCT DESIGNER (11-Month Fixed-Term Contract - Maternity Cover)

Please note: This is a fixed-term assignment of approximately 11 months and is not a permanent role.

Reporting to: Development or Expert Center Manager or Advance Innovation Manager

Scope:

The R&D; Product Designer role is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new products that align with our company’s strategic goals. This position requires a blend of creative design skills, project management skills and technical expertise.

About the team:

The R&D; team within the division of RPSI is composed of experienced professionals dedicated to advancing the company´s innovation and sustainability goals. With allocations in multiple geographies having expertise across Healthcare, Homecare, Food, Beverage, Beauty and Wellness; with focus on:

• Sustainability: Implement and scale sustainable business practices across operations and value chain, focusing on reducing environmental impact while maximizing circularity and enhancing value creation.

• Product Innovation:



Creating new and improved packaging designs that meet the evolving needs of customers across various industries.

• Cost Innovation: Value creation by reducing the costs associated with producing or delivering a product or service, while maintaining or improving its quality and performance.

Key Function Responsibilities:

• Generate innovative product concepts based on market research, customer feedback, and emerging trends.

• Be project manager and ensure that the projects are updated and follow our stage gate model.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

• Create detailed design specifications, sketches, and prototypes using CAD software and other design tools.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives.

• Conduct product testing
