As a Tax Specialist you’ll support our Spanish finance team with monthly closings (Spanish GAAP, IFRS), tax compliance, annual accounts, and FP&A;, working closely with auditors to keep our reporting accurate and efficient.

Your responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly accounting closings under Spanish GAAP
Manage the consolidation of monthly reports in line with IFRS
Review and manage recurring tax obligations, including VAT, withholding tax, and Corporate Income Tax (CIT)
Advise the team on tax-related queries, covering VAT, local taxes,



and general tax matters
Assist in the preparation and review of Annual Financial Statements
Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), budgeting, and forecasting
Ensure compliance with internal controls and help maintain a high standard of financial accuracy
Prepare for audits and collaborate closely with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processesIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline financial reporting processes
Support the team with ad-hoc financial tasks as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge in Spanish GAAP and IFRS and practical experience with tax compliance (VAT, CIT, withholding tax)
Good understanding of SAP and advanced skills in MS tools (Excel)
Professional fluency in Spanish and English both verbal and written
