Following our growth and expansion strategy, we are looking to strengthen our team by incorporating a Accounts Payable Specialist.

Responsibilities

- Review daily bank balances and transactions and support liquidity planning.
- Prepare and process domestic and international payments in accordance with established approval and authorisation procedures.
- Review payment due dates and terms, coordinating with the Accounts Payable team and creditors.
- Manage bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the Accounting team.
- Prepare and update cash flow forecasts for receipts and payments, identifying potential variances.
- Monitor foreign currency transactions and prepare the necessary documentation for international payments.
- Monitor bank fees and charges and manage issues with financial institutions.
- Support the monitoring of financing facilities and their maturity dates.
- Assist subsidiaries with treasury-related queries and issues.
- Support accounting closing activities, audits, and the updating of banking documentation.

Required Profile





- Higher vocational qualification in Business Administration and Finance, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in treasury, banking operations, and international payments.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and foreign currency transactions.
- Good command of Excel and English for communication with banks and subsidiaries.
- Experience with Sage XRT and Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central will be considered an asset.
- An organised, meticulous, and discreet individual with strong prioritisation skills and particular attention to deadlines and payment controls.
