Freelance Performance Ads Creator (Video & Static) for Meta & Google Ads ( Spanish-speaking)

Hotel Treats helps the world's leading hotels sell gift vouchers and day experiences online. We operate www.hoteltreats.com, a curated marketplace selling spa treatments, dining experiences, day passes, romantic getaways and much more from hotel chains like Hospes, Iberostar, NH, and H10.

Our buyers are typically local residents based in Spain, looking for gifts and experiences to enjoy in their own cities.

We're now looking for a freelance video creator who knows how to make paid social, display or discover ads that perform. You'll turn our own footage and photography into scroll-stopping videos for Meta and Google Ads, and use AI tools to get more out of our creative assets, for example by turning still images into video.

This is an ad-hoc, project-based collaboration: we'll send you briefs whenever campaigns need new creative. You'll work alongside our in-house video creator, who focuses on organic social media content, so your focus is squarely on paid performance. If you're an experienced editor or motion designer looking for a reliable side project or a long-term freelance client, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

You'll produce video ads for our paid campaigns, working from briefs from our marketing team. Your work will include:

- Sharing ideas on new formats, trends and AI techniques that could improve results.
- Editing short-form video ads for Meta (Facebook, Instagram Feed, Stories and Reels) and Google (YouTube, Performance Max, Demand Gen) from our own footage and photography.
- Delivering each ad in the right formats and lengths (e.g. 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9; 6, 15 and 30 seconds),



respecting platform safe zones and specs.
- Creating several variations per concept (hooks, openings, text overlays, calls to action) so we can test what works.
- Using AI tools to enhance our creatives: animating still photos into video, extending or upscaling footage, generating B-roll and backgrounds, and cleaning up visuals, while keeping everything on-brand and true to the real hotel experience.
- Adding motion graphics, captions, on-screen text and music in English and Spanish.
- Refreshing and iterating on existing ads based on performance feedback.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who understands what makes a paid ad perform well, not just what makes a video look good. Ideally, you'll have:

- 2+ years of experience creating video ads for Meta and/or Google, at an agency, in-house or as a freelancer.
- A portfolio of paid ads you've produced (not only showreels). Results such as CTR, hook rate or ROAS are a big plus.
- Strong editing skills in tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
- Hands-on experience with AI video and image tools (e.g. Runway, Kling, Veo, Pika, Topaz, Adobe Firefly) and a good eye for when AI output looks natural and when it doesn't.
- A solid understanding of ad best practice: strong first 3 seconds, sound-off viewing, clear messaging and calls to action.




- Native or fully fluent Spanish, plus good written English.
- Reliability with deadlines and quick turnaround when campaigns need it.
- Experience in travel, hospitality, food or lifestyle brands is a bonus.

The role

- Location: Remote, ideally based in Spain or Spanish-speaking Latin America (our registered office is in Palma de Mallorca, although the majority of our team works remotely).
- Engagement: Freelance / B2B, paid per project or per deliverable. Work is ad-hoc, based on campaign needs.
- Working hours: Fully flexible. We only ask for clear, agreed turnaround times on each brief.
- Selection process: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short, paid test task using our own footage.
