As a Senior Professional Data Engineer within Siemens Energy’s Application Development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and managing the database infrastructure that supports our external-facing fleet management applications. This position is vital for ensuring business continuity and empowering data-driven capabilities across our digital products. Your responsibilities will focus on two key areas: creating robust data architectures and optimizing data systems for performance.



This includes developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for advanced analytics using the Azure data stack, with a strong emphasis on handling large data volumes. Additionally, you will be responsible for the continuous performance tuning of complex analytical queries, ensuring the reliability, integrity, and efficiency of our SQL-based data platforms. The idóneo candidate is a seasoned data professional with a passion for performance optimization and an analytical mindset. Advanced expertise in SQL, data modeling, and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem is essential.
