Overview In this role, you will be an integral part of the We Venture Capital team at Werfen. You will project manage top dealfunnel and ensure dealflow move though our processes, as well as drive deal sourcing, deal analysis, and supporting the due diligence processes. You will build and maintain relationships with dealflow sources such as tech transfer offices, accelerators and VCs as well as other deal flow sources. You will support the senior team and support the analyst interns. Responsibilities Key AccountabilitiesSourcing- Finding new startups to invest in and making the initial outreach.Analyze and evaluate dealflow.Manage top dealflow funnelNetworking and Brand-Building – Attending events and conferences, and speaking with other key contacts in the industry.Conduct research on markets, technology use cases and industry trends.Support the overall goal of knowledge sharing with the wider Werfen organization.Support day-to-day activities of We venture Capital in collaboration with teamNetwork with tech transfer offices, accelerators, innovation network other venture capital firms, broaden investor network, and network with relevant sources for dealflowSolicit market intelligence and share it with relevant stakeholdersPrepare reporting documentation as neededNetworking/Key relationshipsWith tech transfer offices, start-up ecosystems,



national investor relations agencies and other relevant players to enable network and deal flowWith internal stakeholdersSpecific requirementsA genuine passion for the start-up scene and venture capital investmentsStrong understanding of healthcare market landscape and the dynamics of in-vitro diagnostics industryAbility to take initiative and source tasks independentlyStrong problem solving skillsAnalytical mindset and high attention to detailHigh level of intellectual curiosity, self-motivated to solve difficult issues, continually seeking ways to improveHard working attitude, high degree of flexibility exhibited in a “can do" attitudeStrong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writingThrive when given responsibilityHigh level skills in MS ppt, excel and word or similar toolsProficiency in spoken and written English Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the positionEducation: A master’s degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, medicine, pharmacology or similar with consistent outstanding academic record;
