About the RoleAsAI & Cloud Principal Engineer , you will help shape the future ofdata, AI, and cloud platformsat Allianz Technology. Working within theData & Analytics Platforms (DAP)team, you will contribute to the evolution of theAllianz Data Platform (ADP) —a strategic platform enabling Data, Machine Learning, andGenerative & Agentic AIuse cases at scale across Allianz Operating Entities worldwide.In this senior expert role, you will design and implement advanced platform capabilities, advise local teams on best usage, and influence architectural decisions that enable secure, scalable, and value‑driven AI adoption. You will operate at the intersection oftechnology strategy, platform engineering, and business impactin a complex, global environment.What You DoAct as atechnical thought leaderfor AI (ML, LLM, Agentic AI) and Data Platform capabilities across Allianz Technology.Design, build, and evolveenterprise‑grade AI and cloud architecturessupporting large‑scale data, ML, and AI workloads.Shape and enhance theAllianz Data Platform (ADP) , including data, ML, and GenAI platform services.Advise local implementation teams onbest‑practice usageof platform capabilities for efficient and scalable use cases.Evaluate and onboardcloud providers and third‑party servicesfor compute, storage, and AI/LLM capabilities.Define and maintainstandards, operating procedures, and architectural guidelinesfor cloud and AI platforms.Stay ahead of AI and cloud technology trends and translate them intopractical, value‑driven platform improvements .Ensure solutions meetsecurity, data privacy, governance, and compliancestandards in a regulated environment.What You BringDeep expertise inAI technologies(ML,
