THE ROLE

As our Asia Marketing & PR Intern, you help ALOHAS get noticed in China and Korea — not just translated into them. You work closely with our Asia Marketing & PR Manager and the wider Marketing & PR team to bring a local lens to every launch, campaign and influencer moment in your market.

This is a hands-on role. You DM, post, pitch ideas and follow up yourself.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Influencer Outreach:

- Reach out to fashion, beauty and lifestyle influencers across Korean and/or Chinese social platforms via DM for gifting,



product collaborations and partnerships.

- Draft outreach messages tailored to each influencer's style and audience.

- Keep a tracker of responses and follow-ups.

Social Media & Community:

- Upload, schedule and publish content across channels (Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu/RED, Weibo, etc.), with light captioning and editing to match brand tone.

- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs to keep the community engaged.

Localization & Cultural Lens:

- Propose original, market-specific content and campaign angles for China and/or Korea — not just translations of general content.

- Flag nuances, platform norms or sensitivities a global campaign might miss, and suggest adaptations.

Trend Radar:

- Track trends across Asian social media, fashion, beauty and celebrity culture (K-pop, C-pop, dramas, etc.) to keep ALOHAS part of the right conversations.

Team Support:

- Support the wider Marketing & PR team with day-to-day coordination and ad hoc projects — a chance to see how a global brand's marketing function runs.

YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...

- Fluent English and native or near-native fluency in Korean or Mandarin Chinese. Both? Even better.

- A genuine pulse on social media trends, influencers and celebrity/entertainment culture in your native market.





- Comfort reaching out to strangers online and writing messages that don't read like a template.

- An eye for what makes content feel "native" to a market rather than just translated.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Fashion or a related field.

- Detail-oriented and organised — comfortable juggling several small tasks at once.

- Prior experience with content creation or social media (personal or professional), or basic tools like Canva/CapCut, is a plus.
