Experteer Overview

In this role you drive the Fund’s sustainability‑led investment strategy within the pooling framework. You will work with the LPPI to shape strategic asset allocation and identify green growth opportunities. You will monitor investments across public and private markets and assess climate and biodiversity impacts.

You will represent the Fund in meetings and with external partners, delivering clear insights to committees and members.

- Oversee LPPI work to deliver the Investment Strategy
- Provide input to strategic direction of the Fund’s investment approach
- Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI
- Monitor and oversee investments across public and private markets
- Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments
- Provide assurance on LPPI activities through bilateral and joint partnership work
- Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee
- Respond to member, media and public enquiries on investment approach




- Represent the Fund in meetings and public speaking engagements

Responsabilidades

- Experience investing across asset classes
- Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing
- Strong understanding of climate science and natural capital and its relevance to investing
- Knowledge of LGPS and pooling
- Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences
- Investment qualification or relevant professional qualification
- Degree-level education in a numerical discipline (or equivalent exceptional experience)
- Willingness to flexible working and travel as needed
