Overview

In this role you lead a team of Materials Planners to ensure material availability across the network while optimizing service levels, inventory, and cost. You will drive planning excellence, support business continuity, and contribute to Essity's supply planning transformation. You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a general, collaborative setting, championing digital tools and best practices. You will shape materials planning through continuous improvement and cross-functional partnership, delivering measurable impact for the business.

Responsabilidades

- Lead and develop a team of Materials Planners, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment
- Ensure effective execution of planning activities to secure product availability across the network
- Drive planning performance by monitoring KPIs, performing root cause analysis, and implementing improvements
- Act as a link between the Supply Planning Hub and internal/external stakeholders to align on priorities
- Support adoption of digital tools, standardized processes, and new ways of working as part of transformation




- Collaborate with Planning Excellence network to accelerate innovation and continuous improvement initiatives

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management, or related functions
- Experience leading people or demonstrated capability to develop others
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making in fast-moving environments
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and experience with reporting/visualization tools
- Experience with SAP planning solutions (APO, IBP, S/4HANA) or equivalent systems
- Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes
- Continuous improvement mindset
