To assist the EMEA Controller in Accounting, Audit, Internal control, Legal and Tax areas.The Main Tasks:Ensure compliance with US GAAP/ Local GAAP requirements / SOX / Tax ComplianceAccountable for the preparation of reconciliations and documentation of all submitted financial data, e.G. the financial statementsContinual improvements of financial processesClosing activities:Coordination and execution of the month end closing activities of the entities according to closing schedule and in line with both US GAAP and internal accounting guidelinesResponsible for the quarterly tax calculations & schedulesCoordination and/or preparation of corrective entries that are needed based on monitoring of the financial results during the month-end closingLiaise with Closing & Reporting team on preparation and progress of the closingStatutory Reporting:Identify country specific Legal & Statutory requirements (e.G content, format, filing due dates, penalties)Compile Statutory Accounts (e.G.
