About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join a fast-growing AI technology company behind an AI companionship platform used by millions worldwide. You’ll work on scalable, AI-powered applications, developing new features and improving existing functionality alongside the CTO, Tech Lead and wider engineering team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys coding, taking ownership and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Ruby on Rails. * Build new features and improve existing platform functionality. * Work with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical solutions and estimate development efforts. * Write clean, maintainable,
well-tested production code. * Participate in code reviews, testing and technical decision-making. * Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance, reliability and scalability. * Collaborate with distributed engineering, product and infrastructure teams.
