The Green Recruitment Company is searching for a BESS Technical Lead to work in a leading consulting and engineering company supporting the development and delivery of utility-scale clean energy infrastructure projects across Europe. They are seeking a BESS Technical Lead will provide technical leadership throughout the full lifecycle of energy storage projects, from early-stage feasibility and conceptual design through detailed engineering, delivery, and operational handover. Responsibilities: * Lead the technical development and engineering design of BESS projects, ensuring optimal solutions from both technical and commercial perspectives. * Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, layouts, drawings, and engineering packages. * Support project execution activities by monitoring technical quality, progress, and compliance throughout delivery. * Act as the technical owner for BESS layouts, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations, standards, and industry best practices. * Collaborate with project, procurement, development,



and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery. * Evaluate equipment suppliers and support technical due diligence, specification reviews, and contract negotiations. * Drive continuous improvement by developing engineering methodologies, tools, templates, and technical standards across the project portfolio. * Contribute to lessons-learned processes and help implement best practices across multiple projects. Requirements: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy, energy storage, power systems, or related infrastructure sectors. * Strong understanding of BESS technologies, electrical systems, grid integration, and utility-scale energy projects. * Experience working with engineering design tools and CAD software. * Knowledge of permitting processes and technical documentation requirements is advantageous. *
