No Offer Description IRIS-CC is a Private Foundation that governs, directs and manages the Institute for Research and Innovation in Life and Health Sciences in Central Catalonia. It is the result of a strategic alliance between 17 academic, healthcare and social institutions in Central Catalonia and its area of influence. The mission of IRIS-CC is to generate scientific knowledge in the life and health sciences, focusing on people’s needs and improving their quality of life,



as well as to create an innovative ecosystem that fosters regional development and provides the products and services demanded by society. In August 2024, the Foundation Institute for Research and Innovation in Life and Health Sciences in Central Catalonia (IRIS-CC) received the European Commission’s “HR Excellence in Research” award. The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is based on the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The implementation of HRS4R represents a quality seal demonstrating that a research centre’s human resources policy meets European standards.
