About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director – Master Planning & Development for a leading luxury real estate development organization. The successful candidate will lead the planning and development of large-scale, high-end real estate projects, including luxury residential communities, mixed-use developments, resort destinations, and integrated lifestyle projects.

This is a senior leadership position requiring a strong combination of master planning expertise, real estate development experience, commercial understanding, and the ability to drive projects from initial concept and feasibility through design coordination and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the master planning and development strategy for large-scale luxury real estate and mixed-use projects.

Oversee the full development lifecycle, from land assessment, feasibility studies, and concept planning to design coordination, execution, and delivery.

Drive the development of luxury residential communities, branded residences, integrated resorts, golf communities, and destination-led projects.

Coordinate with architects, master planners, engineering consultants, landscape designers, hospitality operators, and other project stakeholders.

Evaluate development feasibility, financial viability, market positioning, investment opportunities, and project risks.

Ensure master plans align with the overall development vision, commercial objectives, quality standards, and long-term asset value.

Manage relationships with government authorities, planning agencies, consultants, investors, and development partners.

Monitor project budgets, schedules, design deliverables, and development milestones.

Provide strategic leadership and recommendations to senior management on development opportunities and project direction.

Ensure projects comply with applicable planning regulations, development guidelines, and statutory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

-

Spanish nationality is mandatory.

-

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. A relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Significant senior-level experience in real estate development, master planning, or large-scale property development.

Proven experience working with a real estate developer, master developer, or luxury property development organization.

Strong exposure to luxury residential developments, mixed-use communities, branded residences, resort destinations, or golf communities.

Demonstrated experience managing projects across feasibility, concept development, master planning, design coordination, and delivery.

Strong commercial acumen, including development feasibility, financial analysis, investment evaluation, and risk management.

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, operators, and government stakeholders.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in Spanish and strong professional English are required.

Preferred Experience

Experience delivering large-scale, master-planned luxury communities or integrated resort developments.

International project exposure, particularly in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or other international luxury real estate markets.

Experience with golf resorts, branded residences, luxury hospitality, and destination developments.

A strong understanding of international development standards and high-end real estate market positioning.
