SKA Technology Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our Sales & Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, preparing technical proposals and quotations, and promoting the company's engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new sales opportunities and potential projects.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
Prepare quotations, cost estimates, tender submissions, and technical proposals.
Review project specifications, tender documents, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
Coordinate with internal technical, project, and procurement teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
Conduct customer visits, site visits, product presentations, and project meetings.
Follow up on quotations, tenders, and sales opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer records.




Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Preferably 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, project sales, business development, or the M&E; industry.
Experience in tender preparation, quotation management, and technical proposals is an advantage.
Knowledge of ELV systems, system integration, building automation, or related engineering solutions is an added advantage.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and commercial skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
Willing to travel for customer meetings and project site visits.
Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
