Offer Description
- Exploration of memory-compression architectures for long-term procedural action prediction. The subtask will explore approaches such as hierarchical temporal representations, recurrent memory mechanisms, etc.
- Development of a novel adaptive memory-compression architecture adapted to our assistive robotic environment
- Experimental evaluation and analysis. Experiments will assess prediction accuracy at different temporal horizons.
This contract is funded by the Community of Madrid through the project “Improved Deep Learning for Computer Vision” (IDEALCV-CM), reference TEC-2024/COM-322, awarded under the 2024 R&D; Activity Programmes in Technologies call, through the Directorate-General for Research and Technological Innovation,
pursuant to Order 5696/2024 of 10 December, issued by the Regional Minister for Education, Science and Universities.
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Machine Learning applied to healthcare or a related discipline will be considered an advantage.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, MATLAB and R.
- Knowledge of Deep Learning and/or Computer Vision.
- Previous experience in university teaching.
- Previous experience in publishing scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Certified English proficiency at C1 level or above.

Additional Information
The position offers a full-time employment contract with a working schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The gross monthly salary is €2,029.07, paid in 12 instalments per year.
